For orders within Germany, the shipping time is usually 1-2 business days. Within Europe, delivery takes about 3-5 business days, depending on postal and customs processing in the destination country. For orders outside of Europe, the shipping time is typically 7-10 business days, although delays due to customs checks or longer transport routes may occur.

You can return your item within 30 days of receipt.

  1. Fill out the return form

    Complete the return form to initiate the return process. Please include your order number and the items you want to return. The form can be found on our returns page.

  2. Return the item

    Send the item back after your return is confirmed. You will receive all necessary return information, including the address and return conditions. Please ensure the item is securely packaged to avoid damage during transport.

  3. Refund of the purchase amount

    Once the item has been received and inspected, we will process the refund. The amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation once the refund is complete.

Please send the item to be claimed, adequately stamped, to APART GmbH, Leibnizstraße 2a, 24568 Kaltenkirchen. The warranty is 2 years from the start of the purchase contract.

We offer a 3-year warranty on selected products. All items of our brand APART come with a 3-year warranty as standard.

Warranty process:

  1. Check warranty eligibility:

    Verify if the replacement part is marked as "warranty covered." If this is unclear, please contact our support team.

  2. Identify defect:

    Determine if the item is being claimed due to a manufacturing defect. Damage caused by improper handling, misuse, or installation errors is excluded from the warranty.

  3. Contact us:

    Report the warranty claim to Apart GmbH within 30 days after detecting the defect. This can be done by email or through our contact form.

  4. Submit product and receipt:

    Return the defective item with the purchase receipt and a description of the defect. We recommend sending the product in its original packaging. Be sure to include vehicle information (e.g., installation date and mileage) as well.

  5. Warranty assessment:

    We will assess the defect and decide if the item should be replaced. If the item is unavailable, we will offer an equivalent replacement part.

  6. Exchange:

    If the warranty claim is approved, the item will be exchanged free of charge.

  7. Remaining warranty on exchange:

    If the item is exchanged under warranty, the remaining warranty of the original product applies, not a new warranty.

  8. Liability limitation:

    Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. Further claims are excluded.

  9. Legal rights:

    Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected, even if you make a warranty claim.

  10. Changes to warranty terms:

    We reserve the right to change the warranty terms at any time without prior notice.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Our wide range of products in air suspension technology provides you with all the necessary parts for repairing your vehicle. However, to successfully and sustainably repair your vehicle in the field of air suspension, there are some important guidelines that need to be observed and followed.

Guidelines for repairing air suspension compressors:

Read the manufacturer's instructions and service guidelines and follow them. Identify the cause of the compressor failure.

1. Ingress of dirt or moisture into the compressor (very common cause)

An indicator for this is, for example, rust and dirt deposits on the compressor’s intake nozzle, as well as often loud noises from the compressor before failure. The cause of this may be a porous or defective intake hose, a non-functional air filter, or, in rare cases, driving through very deep water. Check the intake hose when replacing the compressor and replace it if necessary (but please avoid using grease, oil, etc., to make the hose fit more easily on the intake nozzle!). The air filter should generally be replaced with the compressor, as recommended or mandated by some manufacturers like AMK.

2. Faulty work relay

An overload of the compressor, such as from a leakage, can cause the relay to fail or be damaged without visible signs. Replace the relay along with the new compressor. The replacement of the relay is required by all vehicle manufacturers when replacing the compressor! Ensure that you replace the correct relay. Since relays look similar, there is a high risk of replacing the wrong one.

3. Non-functional suspension

The cause of increased running noises may be damage to the compressor itself (Point 1), but it can also be caused by a malfunctioning compressor suspension. If necessary, also replace the rubber mounts and springs of the suspension.

4. Air suspension system leakage (most common cause)

Check the system for leaks during or after any compressor repair. It is best to use the manufacturer’s analysis program for this purpose. If no analysis program from the vehicle manufacturer is available, pressure test the system or individual components, or search for leaks using soapy water. The 24-hour test will indicate where a leak might be. To do this, note the height at the wheel arches of the air-supported wheels of the leveled vehicle. Perform this test again after 24 hours of the vehicle being idle. The leaking section will cause the vehicle to sink. Once the leak is identified, replace the faulty components. After repair, ensure the system is completely sealed, as failure to do so will damage the new compressor immediately.

To ensure the safe operation of the new compressor and to prevent the warranty of the new compressor from being jeopardized due to improper installation or failure to address the original cause of failure, please follow the above guidelines. By taking these steps, you will ensure a long lifespan for your new compressor.
